Humanized targets

Biomedcode has an array of humanized models ideal for the preclinical testing of therapeutics targeting human molecules with no cross-species reactivity

Depending on the generation strategy, human transgenes may confer a spontaneous phenotype or not. Spontaneous phenotypes are usually related with a direct connection of the human gene with the aetiopathology of the disease developed. Such cases are the human TNF transgenic models of arthritis Tg197, Tg5453 and Tg3647 as well as the human RANKL transgenic model of osteoporosis.

Other humanized mice have no spontaneous phenotype and can be combined with either genetic spontaneous or inducible models of chronic inflammatory diseases yielding preclinical efficacy evaluation platforms for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Intestinal Inflammation, Psoriasis and Multiple Sclerosis.
