Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Research and Business Manager to join our team and lead strategic initiatives focused on drug discovery projects. S/he will focus on identifying and pursuing grant funding and investment opportunities, managing intellectual property (IP) portfolios and liaising with potential stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execute strategic plans for a new spin-off SME in drug discovery.
- Identify and pursue grant funding and investment opportunities to promote our R&D projects.
- Coordinate IP management, including patent filings, licensing agreements, and IP portfolio optimization.
- Provide project management support for business development and research initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, business administration, or related discipline); advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, PhD in biosciences).
- Proven track record of success in project management and/or business development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with funders, investors, and internal stakeholders

- Prior experience with IP and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.
